How CTA Stands Apart From Other Coach Training Schools
How CTA Stands Apart From Other Coach Training Schools
Learn to coach. Practice with support. Begin building your coaching work.
CTA brings a practical curriculum, a small learning community, direct coaching feedback, and practice-building guidance together in one 22-week program. You begin putting your learning into use while you still have training support.
Your questions, your coaching, and your progress have a place in class.
You learn with the same cohort of 10–12 students throughout the program. Weekly live audio classes give you opportunities to ask questions, contribute to discussions, and experience coaching with your group.
As you practice together, you build relationships with classmates and facilitators who become familiar with your learning and development. Recordings and course materials support that live experience.
Know how to approach a coaching conversation.
The Simple Coaching Model gives you a practical framework for helping clients explore what matters, clarify their choices, and identify useful next steps. You develop listening, questioning, presence, and client partnership.
Your role is to support the client’s thinking and decisions. You don’t need to be an expert in every client’s field. Coaching ethics and professional boundaries help you recognize when someone needs support beyond the coaching role.
Each lesson gives you something to build on.
The Coach Training Accelerator includes coaching dialogues, sample documents, audio sessions, articles, exercises, and coaching resources. These materials connect concepts with examples and tools you can use.
Weekly lessons build on earlier learning. You prepare, discuss, practice, and reflect—bringing the pieces together as your experience grows.
Find out what’s working—and what to develop next.
The program includes 12 trainer-led learning classes and 10 Coach-the-Coach sessions. You experience coaching, practice it yourself, and receive direct instructor feedback on your skills.
Practice between classes gives you opportunities to apply that feedback in real conversations. You develop experience while you have a training community to learn with.
Prepare to offer your coaching, as well as deliver it.
Explore who you want to serve, develop a message that speaks to them, and practice ways to become visible and credible to potential clients. CTA integrates this work into your coach training.
- Explore your niche and the needs of your ideal clients.
- Communicate the value of your coaching.
- Develop practical approaches to client attraction.
- Use tools for fees, client agreements, and coaching sessions.
You’ll be encouraged to begin working with fee-based clients during training, with guidance as you develop your skills and outreach.
Do I need to choose a niche before I begin?
No. You can explore your direction as you learn and gain coaching experience.
A niche helps focus your marketing: who you want to reach, what matters to them, and how you communicate your services. Your foundational coaching skills remain useful across different coaching settings.
If you want to bring coaching into your existing work, you can also consider how those skills apply to the people and situations you already work with.
A defined path—with room to grow.
The 22-week structure gives you a clear training timeline. Graduate community and additional learning opportunities offer ways to continue developing after the program.
You’ll need time for scheduled live classes, study, and coaching practice between sessions. Review the class schedule, current tuition, and payment options to consider how training could fit your life.
Get a feel for coaching before you decide.
